What CSC Brings to the Table for General Contractors
Estimating
We provide accurate, scope-specific estimates that hold. Our bids are built to close, not just to win. That means fewer change orders, fewer surprises, and a number your owner can actually build a budget around.
Project Management
We embed into your project and run the work. Scheduling, subcontractor oversight, site accountability, documentation, and punch. You stay in your lane as prime. We handle the day-to-day execution.
Subcontractor Network
We bring a vetted sub-base with boots already on the ground in North Georgia and the Southeast. No scrambling to find trades. No unknown quantities showing up to your job site. Our subs are pre-qualified, insured, and held to a clear standard on every project.
One Scope or Many. What CSC Manages on a Commercial Projects
When Cross State Construction comes on as a super-subcontractor, we take full ownership of the assigned scope. Below is a breakdown of what that typically covers on a commercial project.
Structural Framing: Light-gauge metal framing and wood framing for interior wall systems, including load-bearing applications where applicable. We frame it plumb, level, and ready for the next trade.
Rough-In Coordination (MEP): While mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work is performed by licensed specialty subcontractors, CSC manages the scheduling, sequencing, and on-site coordination of all MEP trades. We make sure they show up on time, work in the right order, and meet inspection requirements before the next phase begins. We do not self-perform MEP, but we own the accountability for it.
Insulation Batt, blown, and spray foam insulation: for walls, ceilings, and roof assemblies, coordinated with the MEP rough-in schedule.
Drywall & Ceilings: Drywall hang, tape, finish, and texture.
Suspended ceiling systems: Including grid and tile, specialty soffits, and bulkheads.
Doors, Frames & Hardware: Hollow metal and wood door frames, door installation, and commercial hardware sets. We coordinate hardware schedules with the GC and owner to make sure the right products hit the job at the right time.
Interior Finishes Flooring (LVP, tile, carpet, polished concrete): interior paint, wall finishes, millwork, and casework. Exterior painting is also available, where scoped and required by the project.
Specialties & Accessories: Toilet accessories, signage blocking, corner guards, visual display boards, and other commercial interior specialties as specified.
Final Clean & Punch: We coordinate final cleaning and manage punch list completion through the certificate of occupancy. We do not consider a job closed until the owner does.
A Note on MEP Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing are outsourced to licensed specialty contractors. CSC vets, contracts, and manages those trades directly. Every MEP sub we bring in must carry proper licensing, a current COI naming CSC as additional insured, and a signed lien waiver before any payment is released.
The GC has one point of contact. We handle the rest.
